Quenchol

Heat Treatment Oil

Quenchol

description

Veedol Quenchol is a specialized heat treatment oil designed to control the cooling rate of metals during the quenching process. The additives provide excellent resistance to oxidation and break down of the oil and ensures longer operating life. It allows uniform hardening of parts with improved grain structure and with minimum distortion. It provides consistent and repeatable mechanical and metallurgical properties to the parts

Features/Benefits

  • Controlled cooling rate provides a consistent and uniform cooling rate to achieve desired mechanical properties.
  • Superior oxidation stability resists oil breakdown at higher temperatures and provides longer oil life.
  • High flash point and low volatility limit the fire risk and offers safe working environment, reduces fume generation and low oil consumption.

Performance Specification:

Veedol Quenchol meets and exceeds below performance

  • IS 2664:1980 (Reaffirmed 2014)

Application:

  • Recommended for all normal quenching operations on a wide variety of steel.
